The basic handbook guiding the Cornerstone Celebration leadership team in planning, preparation, and implementation of a Cornerstone Celebration in a local church or group of Wesleyan/Methodist churches. The Cornerstone Celebration is an exciting three-day preaching mission for local churches and clusters of churches in the Wesleyan/Methodist family. The plan involves four evangelisic worship services focused on the mighty intervention of God in human history -- the Christmas Incarnation, the Good Friday Atonement, the Easter Resurrection, and the Coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. In addition, the weekend involves other events including a preparation Bible study, prayer vigil and a Faith-Sharing Workshop during the weekend. Churches can participate by enlisting a trained Herald through the World Methodist Evangelism offices or by simply ordering the basic materials and engaging their own Herald locally.
